A Master’s degree in Design Research for Disability has allowed Mark Lewis to develop and instigate well considered, customized solutions to the furnishing, fitting and interior refurbishment of domestic and commercial properties combining access and ease of movement in an interior with style and finesse for people who have disabilities.

Advances in technology in edition to his own experience allow Mark to bring to his clients the solutions they require.

Mark together with his partner Victor Menseh of AM Adaptations currently service Local Authority Social Housing Developments and Housing Trusts with the solutions they require for those they accommodate whom are encumbered with disabilities. Marks design initiatives and Victors procurement and installation mechanism currently provide the solutions for access and function throughout the home, leisure or work environment that their clients require.

This interest of Marks is a fast expanding side of the services he offers, having first worked during the early 90’s in association with Colebrook, Boson and Saunders developing computer hardware solutions to the causes of repetitive strain injury suffered by perpetual key board operatives. 

Another project, currently under development, will facilitate a contact sport for people with spinal cord injury and mild forms of cerebral palsy.
